Victor Griego

Board Director

Victor Griego is the founder and board president of Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL). He is also the producer of LA Alliance, a program that examines the relationships among Latino and Black southern Californians, and provides a forum for positive and constructive dialogue on common issues and concerns. Over the past 30 years, he has advised many California labor unions on community and political issues, and he previously held the position of staff director for the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union. Griego serves as vice president of the board of directors of the Miguel Contreras Foundation and chairs its Community and Business Council. He is also member of the executive council of AARP-California. He holds an MA in political science from Claremont Graduate University.
