Jana Prudhomme, Administration and Operations Coordinator at Gender Equity Policy Institute (GEPI), is a human-centric operational and administrative professional with a background in workplace coordination, hospitality and facilities management, and auxiliary services. She previously served the Operations departments of higher education and financial institutions in New York, drawing upon her interest in roles that support positive outcomes for others. Jana led strategy and operations for the Arbor Inn of Clinton, NY and supported day-to-day functions on the Facilities Management team of Point 72’s large-scale wealth management office in NYC. Now, she shares her time between GEPI and Lumos Transforms, furthering her passion for smoothing out back-end operations so that organizational leaders can focus on benefiting the world through their respective missions.
Jana graduated cum laude from Hamilton College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies and a Minor in Communications. With her degree, she was awarded the Senior Prize in Africana Studies, and membership to the Sigma Omicron chapter of Lambda Eta Pi of the National Communications Association. Jana speaks English natively, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish conversationally, and is independently studying Korean. Originally from rural Upstate New York, Jana now resides in Los Angeles, California.
